Jeremy Severn

Senior Airman (Sep.) Jeremy Severn is a six-year Air Force veteran who served as an electronic environmental systems specialist on the C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft from 2007 to 2013.  During this time, he prepared C-17s for airlifts, cargo and personnel drops in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM and countless exercises.  Severn described the defining moment of his Air Force career when he and fellow Airmen worked on a C-17 for four days, which they had to troubleshoot before the crew could leave to support war fighters in Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

“We couldn’t find out what was wrong – we worked 14 hours on this plane each day.  And when we thought we fixed one thing, something else went wrong.  When we figured everything out, we watched the crew take off and knew they would accomplish the mission.”

Severn is currently training in mixed martial arts at the Charleston Mixed Martial Arts Gym in Hanahan, S.C.
