Ryan Daniel

Staff Sgt. (Separated) Ryan Daniel enlisted in the Air Force in 1996, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He first served as a munitions systems technician and later became a Tops in Blue performer where he toured 20 countries and entertained more than 250,000 military members and civilians. Daniel served 10 years before separating from the military to become a country music artist. As an independent performer, Daniel continues to use his talents to tell the military’s story, raising awareness on issues ranging from post-traumatic stress disorder to domestic violence. Daniel was named “Country Artist of the Year” April 24, 2016, by the Indie Music Channel Awards. He credits his success to the support of the military community and the training he received as an Airman.

“What we learn in the United States Air Force is determination, hard work and ethics,” Daniel said. “All that we learn and the training, ‘train like you fight,’ I apply those things to my music career.”

Despite being out of the Air Force, Daniel still wants to be a part of it.

“I’m doing what I do now because of the men and women still in the service fighting the good fight, and I want them to know that they’re not forgotten.”
