U.S. Air Force Ret. Capt. John Hayes, participates in the annual Air Force Veterans in Blue project July 23, 2014, in Dallas, TX. Hayes flew in 166 Combat Missions during Vietnam, after the war he retired and flew as a commercial airline pilot where he finished his career with more then 24,000 flight hours. Hayes is now the Veteran and Military Affairs Liasian from Kenny Merchant a congressional representative of Texas.
