Brenda Gutierrez


Master Sgt. (Ret.) Brenda Gutierrez joined the Air Force in November 1994 as a military videographer. She grew up in a rural area of Ohio and wanted to travel and see what the rest of the world had to offer. Her tours included deployments in support of operations Joint Endeavor and Enduring Freedom. One of her most memorable assignments was as a broadcaster at the White House Communications Agency. During her tenure at the White House, under the Obama Administration, she traveled to all 50 states as well as several foreign countries. Gutierrez completed her 21-year career as superintendent of the 4th Fighter Wing Public Affairs at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. Gutierrez currently owns and operates a child care business from her home in North Carolina.
